Arts and Disability Connect. A scheme for artists with disabilities

Arts and Disability Connect funding


Arts and Disability Connect includes Mentoring, Training, New Work, and Research and Reflection awards for individual artists with disabilities.

Arts and Disability Connect Round One 2025
Opens: Monday 24 March
Deadline: Wednesday 7 May at 4pm

Arts and Disability Connect Round Two 2025
Opens: Monday 18 August
Deadline: Tuesday 7 October at 4pm
Come and Ask Questions session via Zoom: Wednesday 3 September at 12 noon

The Arts and Disability Connect scheme is designed to support artists with disabilities to be ambitious, to develop their practice and to connect with arts organisations and arts professionals in the Republic of Ireland.

One-on-one Applicant Support 

Book a session for up to one hour by phone, Zoom, or email for applicant support.
Individual artists who are applying for Arts and Disability Connect funding can book in an applicant support session between 10 April to 2 May. These sessions are open to individual artists with disabilities who are applying to the Arts and Disability Connect scheme as well as people who are supporting them to apply.

We recommend that you read the guidelines of the award you are applying for before attending the meeting, which you can read fully at adiarts.ie/connect

You can have up to 1 hour of support either on the phone, Zoom or by email. During this time, we can review a draft application, answer any queries, and give feedback. ‘Come Ask Questions’ Live Q&A on Zoom

On Wednesday 9 April from 12 noon to 1pm we’ll chat to you about your application ideas and answer questions you have about applying to Arts and Disability Connect, including the New Work, Research and Reflection, Mentoring, and Training awards.

This information session is open to individual artists with disabilities who are applying to the Arts and Disability Connect scheme as well as people who are supporting them to apply.
