Mary Duffy and Donald Teskey: Artist’s Talk

as part of the YARN Storytelling Festival Bray 2017

In 2016 painter Mary Duffy received an Arts and Disability Connect New Work Award, with additional support from Dublin City Council and Mermaid Arts Centre.

Over a year, Mary worked with artist and mentor, Donald Teskey (RHA) as she negotiated a move from being an artist who primarily worked outdoors to one who is now at ease in her studio. Come join us, meet the artists and see a selection of their work as they discuss the past year working together.

Arts and Disability Connect is funded by the Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaíon and managed by Arts & Disability Ireland. It offers artists the opportunity to connect with other practitioners or venues, make a change in their practice, ‘step up’ in terms of scope and scale, reach new audiences and to engage in mentoring and training.

To book a seat for this talk, please call Mermaid’s Box Office on 01 272 4030.
