SCREENINGS:
6pm: A Place to Go
‘A Place to Go’ chronicles how, for the past three years, artist and filmmaker Philip Cullen has worked with men in Waterford with Acquired Brain Injuries to make their own films. Each of the men has endured serious illness and injury, yet still have the courage to face these obstacles to make three independent films together. ‘A Place to Go’ is an inspiring and humorous account of seven remarkable men, how they survived and how they’ve come together as film makers and friends.

7.15pm: The Loneliest Hour
The Loneliest Hour is a short film about publicans Jack and Rose whose lives suddenly change after difficult news. It tells the story of family and friends with humour, but there is always a dark character present. The Loneliest hour explores the grief and pain of the ones most touched by the loss and delves into the past- a lost love always hanging on in the sidelines.

Written & performed by Alan Flynn with introduction by Joe Hodgkins, followed by Q&A with Red Lead Productions (formerly Belong Film Club)
