Strategic Partnerships Manager for the Smart Caption Glasses project, National Theatre
Tabitha Allum has worked in the field of arts access since 2001 when she was employed by Arts Council England to support venues to improve their access provisions and disability arts companies to increase their visibility on the touring circuit. In 2004, she became Stagetext’s first Chief Executive leading a decade of enormous growth of provision of open captioning in theatres, museums and galleries in the UK. Over the last four years, Tabitha has worked freelance with a wide range of arts organisations and other non-profits assisting them with strategy and fundraising and in May 2018, she was invited to take up a role within the National Theatre smart caption glasses team. Her responsibilities within the project are stakeholder engagement, fundraising and business development.
