Brina Casey

Brina has worked for over 15 years in the museum and heritage sector, with experience in arts programming, project management and administration with the OPW, the National Museum of Ireland and the National Gallery of Ireland.

Brina’s work in the Gallery has focused, specifically, on programming for non-self-selecting museum audiences and those with additional needs, creating inclusive and adaptive programmes that encourage diversification and expansion of the Gallery’s audiences. The underlying principle of this work is to ensure that the Gallery is making its collection and buildings accessible to all citizens, regardless of age, ability, geographical location or social demographics.
