Annette is a communications consultant specialising in the Irish cultural sector. She advises on communications and public affairs activity at a strategic level and works with organisations to amplify their impact through audience development, public engagement and advocacy activity.
She has also carried out many research and development projects – including a 2015 study of Audience Development in Ireland on behalf of the Arts Council to inform future policy in this area.
She has devised and delivered audience-focused training for theArts Council of Ireland, Fáilte Ireland, the Irish Museums Association and Theatre Forum Ireland, among others. For the last four years she has delivered a marketing and audience development module to University of Limerick’s Masters in Festive Arts programme.
Prior to establishing her own consultancy, Annette was Head of Communications for Temple Bar Properties, where she led the promotion of the area as a cultural quarter for five years.
