Theatre: You Never Can Tell, Audio Described and Captioned Performance at the Abbey
23 Jan 2016 (Past)
Bernard Shaw’s dazzling wit makes You Never Can Tell a completely unpredictable and utterly hilarious battle of the sexes.
‘I have always said that the great advantage of a hotel is that it’s a refuge from home life’.
After 18 years abroad, Mrs. Clandon returns to England with her unruly teenage twins and forthright daughter. They set up residence in a seaside hotel. Their new life becomes increasingly complicated by her estranged husband and a love-struck dentist. Can a mysterious waiter help them all to live happily ever after?
This Christmas, the Abbey Theatre continues our celebration of one of Ireland’s greatest writers with this wonderful comedy directed by Conall Morrison and starring Niall Buggy.
