Workshop: Drama for Young People at the Mermaid Arts Centre

These free workshops are aimed at young people who are neurodivergent and young people who have a disability, giving an opportunity to play games and make new friends.

Facilitator Casey Hallahan will work with a group of no more than 12 participants per group, for a focused but relaxed hour of fun and play.

There will be two days of workshops, on the 7 and the 10 June.

On each day there will be three session for differing age groups:

11-13 years old: 11:30am – 12:30pm
14-16 years old: 1:00pm – 2:00pm
17-19 years old: 2:30pm – 3:30pm

All are welcome, regardless of drama experience, but booking is essential.

Casey Hallahan
 is a freelance drama teacher and director with more than a decade of experience. They were a member of Prague Youth Theatre’s core team of teachers from 2018-2020, are a graduate of Youth Theatre Ireland’s Artstrain Course (2016-2017) had have facilitated internationally in France and Belgium (Pickles Theatre Company), Croatia (The Rijeka Youth Theatre) and Romania (International Arts Partnership).
