Galway International Arts Festival has commissioned the Turner Prize-nominated artist, David Mach, to create a new site-specific installation The Oligarch’s Nightmare.

A bespoke tactile tour of the Festival Gallery will take place on Thursday 20th July.

The tour will be provided by professional audio describer of stage, screen & the visual arts Mo Harte and will take place from 10.45am to 11.45am.

The Festival Gallery is located at the top of Shop Street, behind the Oscar Wilde statue.

This year’s exhibition is entitled ‘The Oligarch’s Nightmare’ by Scottish artist David Mac.

Please note this is a bespoke private tour which will be offered to a maximum of 13 people.

The tour is free of charge but needs to be booked by sending an email to Elena Toniato at: etoniato@giaf.ie by Friday 14th July to confirm your attendance (first come first serve basis).

Deadline can be extended to Tuesday 18th July if we don’t reach capacity
