Theatre: The Haunting of Gusty Nook at Axis Ballymun as part of the Bram Stoker Festival

24 - 27 Oct 2024 (Past)

Axis Ballymun, 9 Main St, Ballymun, Dublin

In the super weird town of Gusty Nook, strange and scary monsters have suddenly appeared.

Enter Belinda, with the unique(and sometimes annoying) ability to see and talk to ghosts. As the only one who can confront the chaos controlling everyone around her, our brave hero steps up to face the freaky frighteners and battle fear itself.

Featuring a cast of hilarious characters, including Gusty Nook’s new primary school teacher Miss Tingle, bold as brass and boisterous estate agent Mr. Prescott, who would sell his mother to offload Gusty Nook’s spooky almost-castle and Mr. Snappy Gusset, the noisy and nosy neighbourhood reporter on the hunt for a hot story.

This blend of spooky thrills and comedy will help kids understand how to face their fears and take power away from terror. Serving laughs and lessons, fun and frights, The Haunting of Gusty Nook is the perfect deadly adventure for young audiences this October! This production is funded by the Arts Council of Ireland. Presented by MORB in association with Axis Ballymun.

Please note that this performance includes themes of grief, ghouls and ghosts.

Relaxed performance Friday 25 October at 4pm
