Theatre: The Flood, a live multi-sensory audio play in the dark
19 - 29 Apr 2017 (Past)
Close your eyes as the inventive Carpet Theatre brings you a fascinating play in the dark, where live music, sound effects and smells swirl around you.
David, an old sailor with failing sight, mops a leak in his kitchen all night during the floods. His family are out of reach and the Council are too busy to help. As the rain pours and the waters rise, a lifetime of memories flow through his head. Struggling to keep mind and body together, can he weather the storm and plot his course to a new dawn?
Performed by Crazy Dog Audio Theatre veteran Roger Gregg and actor Karl Quinn, using the props of old fashioned radio drama. Optional blindfolds provided. Suitable for audience with sight loss.
Carpet Theatre present The Flood, a live, multi-sensory audio play in the dark. Devised by Ciarán Taylor with Karl Quinn and Roger Gregg.
