Gallery Tours at Solstice Art Centre: Sensory Connections for senior groups

Celebrating Bealtaine Festival, arts and creativity as we age, these relaxed gallery tours and short workshops are for the senior members of our community.

It will follow a slow pace of engagement, tailored to individual needs with an emphasis on the social and emotional benefits of engaging with art. Exploring the artworks in the gallery, participants will be encouraged to take part in a multi-disciplinary, sensory activity that connects to the current visual arts exhibition.

Guidance from carers may be sought prior to the session and the gallery will be closed to the public for the duration of your visit.

For: Senior groups with additional needs

Dates: Wednesdays 10, 17, 24 & 31 May, 10am – 11am.
