Connections Art Centre


David is 38 years old. He has been living at home in Kilmainham during the pandemic.

He normally lives in Adamstown as part of an independent living programme. He is very interested in cars, and pre Covid-19 worked part time valeting cars. He loves football and is a devoted Newcastle supporter.

David has always enjoyed art, and has won several prizes in the Texaco Art competition.

He likes to travel with his family and has visited Mexico. You can see the influence of his love of Mexican native Art in some of his pieces.

David likes to research topics that he is interested in, for example you can see the influence of Picasso throughout his work.

He loves cats and has one named Hollie, and recently he explored cats in his work. David likes to use bold, strong colours in his Artwork.
