E-gress is a soulful and stirring filmic artwork that maps a twilight world of loss and change exploring how individuals diagnosed with dementia find new ways to adjust to a changing world.
A Special Closing Event of E.gress will take place at the Irish Museum of Modern Art on Thursday 14th July 2016.
This closing event marks the final stage of the E.gress National Tour; a mapping of reflections, inspiration and learning gathered along the way, together with a presentation of new artworks and responses.

DURATIONAL PERFORMANCE & CONVERSATION EVENT | 6.30pm – 7.30pm
Mapping the Tour by Ciaran Smyth of Vagabond Reviews followed by a live vocal response by Trinity Choir members and live dance response and then a special guest speaker responding to the filmic artwork. Sarah Bowman of Mercers Institute of Successful Ageing / Trinity, will then lead a conversational event with E.gress artists, tour partners and audience members, followed by a Q&A.
DRINKS RECEPTION | 7.30pm – 8.30pm
All events are free and everyone is welcome.
Attendance to the screening and decompression room are on a “drop-by” basis and places do not need to be booked.
Attendance to the durational performances and conversational event will need to be booked via the IMMA website.
