Cavan Arts Festival returns for its eighth year with its most entertaining and varied programme to date, four magical days celebrating creativity and culture, from 15–18 May 2025, and accessible performances.

Headline acts include The Blindboy Podcast Live, infectious sounds of The Sound of Time Flying with Josh McClorey and Daragh Slacke, award-winning comedian Alison Spittle with her show Fat Bitch (WIP), and a diverse line-up of music, visual art, theatre, circus, literature, and more. Highlights also include a lively guided painting class with Art Club, Belgian circus duo Okidok, and the innovative electronica/acrobatic show Imeall/LLaemi.

Park Life in Con Smith Park (17to 18 May) will be the heart of the festival, featuring Big Top performances, local food at the ‘Forest Feast,’ and family-friendly arts experiences such as Patrick McCabe’s Radio Butty, and Kyle Riley – Little folk On The Road. The festival also focuses on environmental themes through the Working Glas Heroes programme, with appearances by Peter Broderick, Eoghan Daltun, Anja Murray, and Michelle Boyle.

Other interactive experiences include an immersive theatre show Padraic Brady’s Ojus Tours, a and the much-loved Pedal Parade, featuring DJ No Brakes and Canadian acrobatic bike performer Jerry Tremblay.
