Circus: When the Moon Spun Round at Dublin Dance Festival

Dublin Dance Festival and The Ark present a magical performance of captivating aerial dance, traditional music and storytelling at Samuel Beckett Theatre for families.

Inspired by poems and stories by W.B. Yeats, Fidget Feet and Ceol Connected invite young audiences on a truly imaginative journey. See aerialists glide and twirl like waves in the sea, watch a fiddler soar high through the sky, and catch glimpses of the mysteries that lie behind the moon as it spins round.Featuring outstanding aerial dancers and traditional musicians playing live on stage, along with daring and exhilarating choreography, dreamlike lighting and immersive soundscapes, When the Moon Spun Round is a fun and joyous experience that is sure to leave audiences of all ages spellbound.

Access Performances

There will be an audio described performance Saturday 24 May at 4.30pm. Relaxed performances include Thursday 22 May at 12.15pm and Saturday 24 May at 4.30pm.
