Join Stopgap Dance Company for a day of workshops in DanceHouse this June.

Stopgap Dance and Dance Ireland will host a day of workshops are in partnership with Dance Limerick and Inclusive Dance Cork on Professional Inclusive Dance and Exploring Creative Access in Lived Fiction. These workshops are open to all artists with an interest or curiosity about inclusive practice. The day will run from 11am to 4pm, with time for a lunch break (lunch will not be provided).

Workshop 1: Professional Inclusive Dance
Get insight into Stopgap’s inclusive choreographic practice from over 20 years of experience. You can expect to have fun with choreographic tasks, improvisations and discussions.

Workshop 2: Exploring Creative Access in Lived Fiction
Join Stopgap Dance Company for an engaging, hands-on workshop that blends practice and presentation, offering a deep dive into their unique approach to creative access in dance. Through the lens of their award-winning new production Lived Fiction, you’ll discover how accessibility and artistry can intertwine to shape powerful, inclusive performances.
