Circus: Resonance at The Lir Academy, ISL Performances

11 - 15 Sep 2023, 6:15 pm - 7:00 pm (Past)

The Lir Academy, Grand Canal Quay, Dublin

A journey into a world of the unspoken, inspired by growing up CODA (Child of Deaf Adult).

This show explores shifting roles and relationships, connection and presence for someone living in two different worlds simultaneously.

The narrative follows the blurred lines experienced by someone straddling parallel cultures. As interpreter, a filter, a voice for those without and as someone’s daughter.

A performance told through circus, physical theatre, light and ISL (Irish Sign Language).

Directed by Mícheál Fleming.

Developed at FRINGE LAB and Scene+Heard. Supported by the Arts Council / An Chomhairle Ealaíon and Circusful Belfast.
