Baboró International Arts Festival for Children presents Go Wild With Art
10 - 11 Oct 2020, 10:00 am - 3:40 pm (Past)
Come to Brigit’s Gardens and enjoy wild art activities in the garden and in the festival tent. Have family fun with nature activities and multi-sensory elements.
Phillida Eves, an experienced multi-sensory artist and educator, will facilitate a workshop for young children with additional needs and their families. Together, families will gather elements of nature from Brigit’s Garden to create patterns and shapes. They will then be invited to enter a comfortable festival tent to take part in art activities inspired by the natural surroundings.
Phillida will use her vast experience to create meaningful opportunities for the children to explore artistic activities and find self-expression. Using an overhead projector, the children will create their own stories using a fabric screen.
Phillida and her assistant will remain outside the festival tent while your family sits inside, so as to respect social distance guidelines.
