Augmented Body, Altered Mind is an immersive interactive experience that explores the relationships between technology, neurodivergence and climate change.

Augmented Body, Altered Mind was created by artist AlanJames Burns in collaboration with writer Dylan Coburn Grey, composer Michael Riordan, and digital artist collective Ibragim.

The user wears a headset and interacts with a digital artwork constructed by the electric signals from their brain. Because everyone’s brain activity is different, each experience of the artwork will be unique.

Commissioned by Carlow Arts Festival with funding from the Arts Council Commissions Award and the Arts and Disability Connect scheme.
