Accessible Professional Development Programme for Artists and Arts Workers

Online
Accessible Professional Development Programme for Artists and Arts Workers based in Cork and beyond.
The Accessible Professional Development Programme is a series of four Zoom webinars featuring an array of artists and artists professionals. Delivered by Cork County Council Arts Office, the series will be facilitated by Róisín Power Hackett and aims to encourage artists and arts workers in all art forms in County Cork to develop arts projects. This series will focus on access to supports for people with disabilities. However, people without disabilities are very much invited to attend.
Cork County Council wants to assist in the development of projects by providing support in exhibiting, performing, presenting, or publishing work by connecting artists and arts workers with each other and with the directors, curators, critics, playwrights, and theatre makers who will speak during the webinars. In addition, this series will introduce the grants, bursaries and supports available to artists and arts workers through Cork County Council Arts Office and Arts and Disability Ireland.
All taking place on Zoom, the four webinars will be in the form of panel discussions with an audience Q + A at the end. The webinars are free, but booking is essential.
If you have any access needs, please get in touch with the Assistant Art Officer Maeve Mulrennan at creativeireland@corkcoco.ie or phone (021) 4285995. Captioning and ISL interpretation is available on request, please contact Maeve as soon as possible.
This webinar programme is being organised by Cork County Council Library and Arts Service and is funded by the Arts Council and Creative Ireland.
