Moran Been-noon, Access & Training Officer
Moran Been-noon joined ADI as Access & Training Officer in January 2025.
Moran is a Dublin-based visual artist and curator, with work that focuses on the experience of living as a migrant in Ireland and explores ethnic identity and how it influences one’s ability to belong. She has worked in the arts in Ireland since 2008 and holds a PhD from the NCAD and an MFA from the School of Visual Arts.
Moran is also a co-initiator of Angelica Network (angelica.network), an Ireland-wide network which amplifies the voices of artists based on the island of Ireland who self-identify as women or minority genders, from underrepresented cultural or ethnic backgrounds.
In 2023, Moran curated the exhibition If You Only Walk Long Enough for the Irish Arts Center in NYC, and had a solo exhibition, Here nor There, as an artist in South Tipperary Arts Centre in Clonmel, which also showed in Axis Ballymun in 2024. Recent awards were the Arts Council Bursary Award (2021), Agility Award (2022 & 2023), and Dublin City Council’s Bursary Award (2025). Over the past few years they have worked as an engagement programmer for Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown LexIcon gallery, and as an advisor for Safe to Create.
