Niamh Ní Chonchubhair
Niamh Ní Chonchubhair is the current Chair of Arts & Disability Ireland’s Board of Directors.
Niamh is Programme Manager at axis: Ballymun, a venue and an arts development organisation.
Over the past ten years she has worked as producer and co-ordinator of a number of projects and festivals in arts, education and health. Recent production credits include ‘Eoghainín na nEan’, ‘The Good Father’, ‘The Hijabi Monologues’, ‘Waiting for Elvis’, ‘Hip-Nós’ (Ireland, US, South Africa) and ‘The Parting Glass’ (national tour, US, France, Sweden).
Niamh was selected for the U.S. State Department’s IVLP Program exploring social change through the arts, and the Intercultural Cities programme with the Council of Europe. She is a board member of Theatre Forum Ireland, Arts & Disability Ireland and The Ireland United States Alumni Association and works with organizations such as The British Council, Waking the Feminists and Foras na Gaeilge on specific projects. Niamh’s passions include using creativity as a tool for exploring and effecting social change, the Irish Language, decent cheese and red wine.
Niamh joined ADI’s Board in August 2016.
