Arts and Disability Connect Scheme Round One 2025 open for applications from 24 March to 7 May

Round One of the Arts and Disability Connect Scheme is open for applications from 24 March until 7 May 2024.

Arts and Disability Connect Round One 2025 is now open for applications from Monday 24 March, and the deadline to apply is Wednesday 7 May at 4pm. There will be a second opportunity to apply this year with Round Two opening in the summer on 18 August 2025. 

What is Arts and Disability Connect and where can I apply?

The Arts and Disability Connect scheme is designed to support artists with disabilities to be ambitious, to develop their practice and to connect with arts organisations and arts professionals in the Republic of Ireland. Arts and Disability Connect includes New Work, Research and Reflection, Mentoring, and Training awards for individual artists with disabilities. 

The Arts and Disability Connect scheme is funded by the Arts Council and managed by Arts & Disability Ireland. For guidelines and application forms for each award visit adiarts.ie/connect. For further information or any queries, please email connect@adiarts.ie

What applicant support is available? 

There are several applicant support resources available, including a Come and Ask Questions Session and one-on-one sessions which you can read more about below. Previous information sessions are also available on our YouTube and SoundCloud, including interviews with previous awarded artists for Training, Mentoring, Research and Reflection and New Work awards.

Come and Ask Questions Session

Join the Arts & Disability Ireland team on 9 April on Zoom to answer all your questions about making an application to the Arts and Disability Connect scheme. On Wednesday 9 April from 12 noon to 1pm we’ll chat to you about your application ideas and answer questions you have about applying to Arts and Disability Connect, including the New Work, Research and Reflection, Mentoring, and Training awards.

This information session is open to individual artists with disabilities who are applying to the Arts and Disability Connect scheme as well as people who are supporting them to apply.

One on One Sessions

Book a session for up to one hour by phone, Zoom, or email for applicant support. Individual artists who are applying for Arts and Disability Connect funding can book in an applicant support session between 10 April to 2 May. These sessions are open to individual artists with disabilities who are applying to the Arts and Disability Connect scheme as well as people who are supporting them to apply.

We recommend that you read the guidelines of the award you are applying for before attending the meeting, which you can read fully at adiarts.ie/connect

You can have up to 1 hour of support either on the phone, Zoom or by email. During this time, we can review a draft application, answer any queries, and give feedback.
