Opportunity: Artist in the Community Awards Round One 2025

The aim of the Artist in the Community Scheme is to encourage meaningful collaboration between communities of place and/or interest and professional artists.
Applications are now open for the Research and Development Award (both with and without mentoring), the Recent Graduate Research and Development Award (with mentoring), and the Project Realisation Award. The deadline for the awards are Monday 31 March.

Create and the Arts Council aim to make the application process accessible to all. They have increased supports to remove barriers for artist applicants to Artist in the Community awards. These additional supports may include: translation to other languages, Irish Sign Language interpretation for advisory sessions, or transcription of audio and video files. They will use all reasonable endeavours to assist people with disabilities or access requirements who are eligible under the conditions of the award.
