Open Call: Bram Stoker Festival 2025
Posted: 10 February, 2025
Dublin City Council Bram Stoker Festival’s Open Call to present events at this year’s festival is now live. They’re looking for a broad range of events from artists, producers, creatives and organisations who want to thrill Dubliners this Halloween, with budget available to support successful submissions.
For four days and nights between Friday 31 October and Monday 3 November 2025, Dublin City Council and Bram Stoker Festival will present a programme of literary, cultural, contemporary and family events to engage a broad audience in celebration of Bram Stoker.
Once again, they are holding an open call for ideas for events and activities. These ideas must have a real connection to or be thematically linked to Bram Stoker; his works, his life, his philosophy, Victorian Dublin, all things Gothic, the supernatural or the mysterious. The deadline is Monday 3 March at 6pm.
About the festival
Bram Stoker Festival is one of Dublin’s biggest multi-disciplinary arts festivals, with a broad audience of Dubliners of all ages and backgrounds, united in a love for the unknown, the supernatural and the Gothic.
This year the festival will start on Hallowe’en Night, allowing them (and you!) to present events rooted in Samhain, superstition and terror…
Their programme combines family-friendly adventures with late-night antics for mates, dates and everything in between. We’ve presented interactive art installations, music gigs, comedy, theatre, spoken word, themed parties, food-focused experiences, literary events, outdoor adventures for children, families or grownups, film screenings, exhibitions, talks and lots more… and we’re thirsty for more!
