6 Sculpture Workshop Award & Bursaries (January – September 2016)

This award offers:

Free full time access to a bay in the sculpture workshop for 2-5 months.
Bursaries of between €200 – €500 each
Technical support, according to availability, from Workshop Manager Mick O’Hara.
Full access to workshop equipment
Potential opportunity to exhibit in MART Gallery in November 2016*
We are looking for artists who want to access the particular facilities of the sculpture workshop and/or experiment with new materials.

6 Digital Media Award & Bursaries (January – September 2016)

This award offers:

Free scheduled access to Fire Station’s Digital Centre for 2-4 months.
Bursary of €100
Technical support according to availability from Digital Media Manager John Beattie
Free access to all Digital media equipment
Potential opportunity to exhibit in MART gallery, in November 2016*
We are looking for artists who want to access the particular facilities and resources of Digital Media Centre, experiment with or develop their digital media skills.

*Exhibition Opportunity with MART Gallery and Studios 2016

As a new and exciting aspect part of this award, Fire Station is delighted to partner with MART Studios who will offer up to 3 awardees an exhibition opportunity for up to 4 weeks, in the MART Gallery in Rathmines in November 2016. This opportunity can take the form of an exhibition, screening, talks or series of events, includes technical support from MART and access to their media and audio visual equipment

The selection procedure for this opportunity will be further outlined from January 2016, following the selection of the awardees.
