The Glucksman, Cork have announced new virtual programmes in response to the COVID 19 pandemic.

First up, Home from Home is intended as a way to provide insight into the extraordinary situation of being confined to home during these strange times. The selected artists were due to present work in the Glucksman this April as part of the exhibition HOME which is now postponed until later this year.

Every Tuesday and Friday, the Glucksman will share the response of a single artist and provide some additional information on their wider practice. The artists explore the shared challenges of being at home, the frustrations, boredom, anxiety, but also the capacity to reflect, create and connect.

Next, the Glucksman announced that they will provide audio tours of its exhibitions as well as curatorial insights into individual works on display. Listen to curators speaking about the recent exhibition Moving Spaces here.

And finally, for the little ones, join the Glucksman for Creativity at Home, a series of creative activities shared on a weekly basis on their website and on their Youtube channel.
