Baboró International Arts Festival for Children presents Sing Me to the Sea

Sing Me to the Sea is a magical watery adventure for children with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and their families, created by director Anna Newell in collaboration with composer David Goodall.

Originally created to be presented in hydropools, this version has been specifically re-imagined to create connection in this time of distance and disconnection in which we find ourselves.

Sing Me to the Sea will take place in the beautiful gardens of The Ardilaun Hotel, Taylor’s Hill. Each show will welcome three children and their families, seated in a safe, socially distanced way. Chairs are available for each family and you are welcome to bring blankets and/or cushions from home to sit on and cosy up. The venue is wheelchair accessible.

Sing Me to the Sea was created in 2018 with funding by Wicklow County Arts Office with design funded by Riverbank Arts Centre, Newbridge. Co-produced by the Civic Theatre, Tallaght.

Please note: This performance takes place outdoors, so please come dressed appropriately for the weather!

Due to Government guidance regarding capacity limitations, we can only permit a maximum of two family members to accompany each child.
