A haunting and atmospheric site-specific music-theatre ‘scenario’ for a woman in a hotel room which combines visual language, projection, live classical music and text.

I Used to Feel by Ailís Ní Riain was presented at Cork Midsummer Festival 2017 in partnership with Arts & Disability Ireland. Composed and written by Ailís Ní Ríain, a Cork-born classical composer and writer for performance and winner of the prestigious Paul Hamlyn Award for Artists in 2016.

Performers:
Alvean Jones, actor (Dublin Theatre of the Deaf and former presenter of Hands On, RTÉ One)
Kate Romano, musician (classical clarinettist, producer and founder of the Goldfield Ensemble)

22nd and 23rd June, with performances at 1pm, 2pm, 5pm, 6pm & 7pm
Duration: 30-35 minutes approx.
